I was really going to just let this go and then my dad came to visit and between him and two other mechanics (he is also an expert mechanic 30 yrs from out-of-town) all suspect that my car was never even touched, or that they changed my oil but did not put nearly enough oil back in (less than a 1/4 of what was required). I do not usually check my oil with regularity and lucky my dad caught it, but I was dangerously low well before I was scheduled for another service. We had a recall scheduled at the Acura dealership around this same time and they said it was possible for their engines to burn .5 quart per thousand miles, but again I had not put enough miles on the car for that to be the case. My husband has also had a negative experience with the same shop. He came in asking them to machine the brake rotors and replace the brake pads, which my husband supplied, and he was quoted $275 and pressured into purchasing the same brake pads but through their shop. I would be very cautious about this shop even for something as small as an oil change. | | | | Did you find this review helpful? Yes / No | | |
